Gameplay

The gameplay is as most regular shooters. Moving, posture, zooming and most of the controls are the same as most shooters. What makes this game so unique then? The possibility to choose where you want to start completing objectives. If there isn't one most important objective, you can choose yourself where you walk or drive first to accomplish a task. This freedom allows you to enter the objective area at your style. Try to sneak in or duplicate Rambo? You can play in 6 different classes to make it even more your style. If you die in the battlefield, you can choose to change your class and spawning point like in the Battlefield games. You can do that 6 times each mission, and I like that. The overall Single player campaign is very short, longer would have been great.

Frontlines: Fuel of War

Weaponry
Because it is 2024, the weapons are futuristic and very good looking. As said there are 6 classes, but that's only for the first main weapon you get. You can carry multiple weapons at the same time, making it possible to be prepared both ranged and for close quarters. The weapons are pretty standard if you talk about sorts. An automatic rifle, sniper, shotgun, rocket launcher and all the standard stuff. The automatic rifle is sometimes very inaccurate and even at short range sprays everywhere except for your crosshair. But what makes the weaponry unique?

The drones! Underway you can pickup drones of different kinds. It are all mini remote controlled vehicles to use in difficult battles, so you don't have to walk in. An exploding plane, rocket shooting helicopter, exploding tank and a powerful minigun-tank makes the game even more enhanced. Get somewhere safe, deploy your drone and control it with your pocket PC. The big vehicles are also pretty standard. A jeep, tank and armored vehicles make the vehicles about the same as in other games. They could have made a bike or so to make it even better. These come pretty handy in the huge maps and battles.
