I don't remember the 580 being $500.00 here on release.

Also, the 680 is completely new, while the 580 was just an updated 480.

OKAY OKAY... Err was there a card which costed like 600-700 instead of the usually 500, and the released a dual gpu card ? How much did they charge.. Cause that will be a good indication of how much they'll charge with the 690.
