Fraps problem

So the thing is that i wanted to open Fraps to record a gameplay and i got this error

I tried to reinstall but it's the same thing . Please tell me how to fix it.

You need to get rid of the Anti-Pirate software it installs called "Armadillo". I did it and afterwards, it worked fine, although i used a piece of software

Armadillo has even been known to cause problems when you simply install the trial version, not a pirate version.

if your going to pirate if that is what you did get a good version XD have u tried redownloading and then reinstalling depending on how you came to own this program/ share it

I Donwloaded a good version too but it's the same

I would try the thing with the registry . but i'm not too sure about it

Xfire is win for recording, I can make MW2 videos playing on max settings without lag at all.

you have a 5770 so yeah of course you can not everyone else does also i have a gtx 260 and i can do that just fine with fraps which is win

can't wait to buy myself 2gb more, I will be able to record games so much more easily.

A 4890 should handle it with no problem, but the 2gb is a killer=[

It's actually your CPU that counts with video recording, and RAM too. The GPU won't help as long as you are already getting 60+ FPS in your game, for the most part. If you want to make videos, quads are a MUST have.

How come when I unlocked it, my quad made no difference=p

I locked it again so its a x3....only helps a lot with desktop use which i don't really do lol.
