Well I got my hands on a 8600GTS, apparently it was pulled out of a machine at work because it didn't work (replaced it). So I bought the old girl home to have a bit of a play with ;) Turns out she works, so far.

Gonna try my hand at getting it running as a dedicated PhysX card until I upgrade/get another 5850. Will post back eventually too let you guy's know how it turns out. Am capped atm so I can't really download benchies and stuffs just yet.

I knew it had problems, just a question of how long it would last ;)

Might replace the 'questionalble' capacitors on it eventually and see how that goes.

Lol. No thanks :P

I do know that 2 capacitors need to be replaced, simple and easy job. Just need to buy myself a soldering iron and find a store that will sell solid state caps :P
