Which GPU is better to get until i can get a good one?

Gigabyte GT210 512MB
OR
Gigabyte ATI HD5450 512MB

i want to play the new mw3 on low graphics untill xmas because im getting a 6950.
ill getting a new build with a i7, 8gb ram etc so i only have the money for everything but the graphics card so was going to get a cheapy till xmas

They're both rubbish, you'll only be able to play decently at like 1280x1024. Although the 5450 is probably the better option of the two.

Why wouldn't you wait untill Bulldozer comes out and Intel (hopefully) lowers the prices on there range and get a 2500k, saving like $150 at least (because for gaming you wont really need an i7, and the 2500k has great OC abilities), then keep your crappy card until the 7000 series comes out and snag yourself a 6990 cheap!

My advice? Stick with your current PC until you have the money to buy every component you need. Your rig is more than capable.

I would have though a 5770 would be quicker than either of the cards mentioned anyway. :?

Yeah wtf ur 5770 is better then both of those in xfer id say :P tho you cant xfer nvida and ati :( but still you get my drift. haha Hold fire till xmas no point forking out more money unless your rolling in it . Like jimbo and myself sigh. Get a i5 if ur only gaming and get a cheep 69xx once xmas hits. Or better yet wait till x79 and bull is out then ya will have more options only 3-5 months away at best and trust me you will save more that way !! :ugeek:

thats my mates 5770, im using his account to post stuff becuase i dont have a account. my computer is on ebay at the moment so when i sell it ill be getting my gear but depending if i get my last pay in time i will get a 6950 that i posted in another part of the forum but if i dont have the money i was going to get a cheapie as stated above to have for like a month untill i have the money.
