Fuc*k two threads I just checked had actual porn in them, utterly disgusted, I mean spamming us with a few words etc is one thing, but full blown images is another

I had an idea on how to stop this sort of thing without disrupting the general flow of the forum, my idea was that a user must have at least 50 posts before he or she has access to use images in a post, this way it would be that much harder for this sort of filth to invade our lovely forum.

It's just an idea, cause honest i don't want to see that sort of thing in an all ages community ever again

On another note the guy is long gone ive blocked his IP and deleted the account

i just hope no more low lifes show up.. and we get Tye to put something into action for us if he's willing

Ok great, hope he agrees with my suggestion, as it's both non disruptive to the forum, it's easy to implement under admin settings, and it solves the issues

good idea im thinking more like 10 posts as spammers rarely get past 2 posts as it is...
Will look in to it and see what settings there are for the forums

Got to bear in mind that giving a post limit will encourage some members to spam threads to get the post count up so dont want it to high

But one thing I really don't understand.. WHY would you post something like that in a computer forum, I mean.. It takes some minutes of his obviously sad life, he makes a post with some pictures in it (I didn't see the thread(s) myself), and he leaves. - The thread gets deleted, he gets banned, and everything is back to normal. Waste of time for him

^ not all forums have mods who are so quick to act, there was also malicious links on the posts, so some poor idiot might have clicked them out of curiosity .. for every smart person there are at least 5 dumb ones when it comes to computers unfortunately

If you could also limit the amount of posts a new member makes per day then this wouldn't be a problem.
